DESCRIPTION:I am honored to participate in the Tourism Week Opening Celebration at the Vicksburg Welcome Center as one of the selected artists for this location. \nMy original triptych painting\,The Key City\, created specifically for the space and now part of the Mississippi Welcome Center permanent art collection—where it will be viewed and enjoyed by visitors for decades to come. \nThe collection was designed and curated by Pacesetter Gallery\, with a focus on highlighting outstanding Mississippi artists across a diverse range of mediums\, styles\, regions\, themes\, and perspectives. \nSpecial thanks to Visit Mississippi and the Mississippi Development Authority for their commitment to promoting original Mississippi art in welcome centers across the state. Tourism is the ninth-largest industry in Mississippi\, and initiatives like this play an important role in sharing our culture with visitors from around the world. \n

DESCRIPTION:Join us for a meaningful and inspiring afternoon as we come together to make a difference through art. \nThis special fundraiser paint party supports Loving Through His Eyes\, a ministry devoted to rescuing\, restoring\, and rehabilitating women. Their mission is to help women rediscover their worth\, reclaim their voice\, and experience true healing. \nA portion of the proceeds from this event will go toward supporting women who have been impacted by human trafficking—providing them with the resources\, care\, and safe environment they need to begin rebuilding their lives.\nCome ready to create\, connect\, and contribute to a cause that brings hope and transformation. No experience is necessary—just a willing heart. \nTogether\, we can be part of restoring lives and rewriting stories. \nLunch is provided by Defining Wellness \nTogether\, we will be painting “Greater Things\,” a beautiful field of sunflowers—symbolizing hope\, renewal\, and the promise of brighter days ahead. \n($10 of the ticket price is going to the Loving Through His Eyes and the rest ($30) is to cover cost of supplies and instruction.)
